The AFKA 2022 Awards nominations is now CLOSED.

We at the AFKA believe in the importance of recognizing those who go above and beyond to provide children and youth in care with love, compassion and support.

It is of utmost importance that we acknowledge these amazing individuals, who demonstrate commitment to, and unconditional acceptance of, the children and youth who they care for or support. Great caregivers and workers advocate and seek supports and services for the diverse needs of children, youth and families, including the nurturing of their mental, physical, and emotional well-being, involvement of natural family and connection to culture and heritage.
