Join the AFKA and Gilbert Drapeau, Administrative Review and Appeal Specialist, on April 23rd for an Introduction to Children’s Services’ Administrative Reviews and Appeals

In order to support understanding of Children’s Services’ dispute resolution mechanism, we offer ongoing presentations in regards to them. These presentations have had a significant positive impact on our relationships with alternate Caregivers, clients and staff. Below are descriptors of the Administrative Review and Appeal presentation:

The presentation includes:

– The first steps to take when a client disagrees with a Director’s decision

– The dos and don’ts when helping a client through the Concern Resolution Process

– Alternative dispute resolution tools

– The Administrative Review; its processes and impact

– The Appeal; its processes and impact

– Lots of discussion!
