2021 AFKA AWARDS

Now Accepting Nominations

This fall, the Alberta Foster and Kinship Association will recognize the amazing work and significant contributions of foster and kinship caregivers, Child Intervention Workers and Family Support Workers in Alberta for all they do in supporting children, youth and families. This past year has been no exception; foster and kinship caregivers and workers have gone above and beyond in their roles. They have shown resilience, creative thinking and adapted to an unprecedented reality.

Do you know an amazing foster or kinship family, child intervention worker or family support worker? Consider nominating them for an award, for the amazing work they are do, every day.

The date and location of the presentation of the AFKA 2021 Awards is still to be determined, however, they will likely be presented during Alberta’s Foster and Kinship Caregiver Appreciation Month in October. More information will be shared via email and our website when it is available.

Nomination Deadline: June 30, 2021
